In mid-December 2024, we’re introducing a new, updated design for Trelson. This update is for teachers and administrators and is a step towards making the tool even easier to use. You’ll be able to use the tool as usual, but it will look a bit different.

In practice, most things will work as usual, but some features have been relocated or given an updated design. Below, you’ll find a summary of the changes to come.
The button for creating assignments, tests, tags, and subjects is now located in the menu on the left. If you have administrative rights, you can also create templates for the organization using the same button.
We’ve clarified which security client applies to different devices and renamed one of the security clients to Browser Lockdown Extension (previously Focus ChromeOS).
When you create an assignment, you provide instructions through the “i” icon on the right, instead of through the settings. The instruction panel will only be visible to students if you have entered instructions.
By clicking on the notification bell in the top right, you’ll find an information center. Here, we will post news and important information for those using Trelson in their teaching.
We’re adding a tab in the menu called “Shared with me.” Here, all the assignments where you’ve been added as a co-creator will be gathered, making it easier for you to find assignments shared with you.
